A deliveryman was struck and killed by city bus on the Upper East Side in March, highlighting the dangers faced by every day by a largely immigrant workforce that plies the city streets by bicycle, carrying food and other goods. We spoke with one Bronx-based deliveryman, an immigrant from Mexico who is coping with aftermath of an on-the-job accident he barely survived.
