MONEY MACHINE: We're crowdsourcing how ATM costs vary across the city. Help us gather information for our interactive map. You may be saving yourself – and others – money.
The NYCity News Service and CUNY TV’s “BrianLehrer.TV” show want New Yorkers’ help in uncovering how much ATM fees vary.
The assignment is simple: find an ATM – not associated with a bank – and note the withdrawal fee. You don’t need to take money out, just record the fee and report your findings below. The more ATMs you try, the better. Once we’ve analyzed the data, we’ll post an interactive map showing where you can make withdrawals – and how much it will cost you.
