NYCity News Service reporters – in the days before the 2012 presidential election and in the wake of Hurricane Sandy – hit the streets to ask New Yorkers about the most important issues to them, the state of our political system and their hopes for the future.
The assignment stemmed from PBS NewsHour’s ongoing “Listen to Me” project, which is compiling videos of citizens across the country expressing their views at this crucial juncture.
