On Nov. 4th, older black voters lined up at the P.S. 175 polling station on Harlem’s historic 135th Street to vote for a moment most never thought would come.
Joined by unexpected visitor Gov. David Paterson, they cast their ballot for Barack Obama, the country’s first black presidential candidate and symbol for the hardships the black community has endured.
