Dr. Roscoe Brown, one of the barrier-busting Tuskegee Airmen, came to the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum on a recent day to share his story with a new generation of aspiring aviators. Brown told students from Queens’ Aviation how he fought in a segregated military during World War II – but never let his dreams and ambition be limited by the close-mindedness of others.
