As many of us enjoy holiday parties and festive feasts, those in need have one less weekly source of nourishment. Starting this month, the food pantry at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church (346 W. 20th St. btw. 8th & 9th Aves.) is no longer open on Thursdays. The food bank did not have enough food, or volunteers, to continue providing groceries for the needy on four afternoons a week.
