David Diamante, the in-house announcer for the Brooklyn Nets, also owns Diamante’s Cigar Shop in Fort Greene. He revels in that his dream job is just a five-minute walk away from where his family has called home for generations.
“It’s such a wonderful thing to able to represent the borough, it’s a real honor, something I don’t take lightly and I think without a doubt it’s good to have a local guy as the voice of our team,” Diamante said.
