– “A Queer History of Fashion: From the Closet to the Catwalk” pays homage to the contributions of LGBT individuals to the fashion industry. A two-day symposium brought together fashion professionals, including Simon Doonan, Fred Dennis and Ralph Rucci.

To accompany the exhibition, the Museum  presented syllabi from several universities with course offerings in Queer Studies. Most are from Queer Studies pioneer Jonathan D. Katz, of the State University of New York at Buffalo.

“A Queer History of Fashion: From the Closet to the Catwalk” is free and open to the public until Jan. 4.
