Jon Lovitch’s candy-covered holiday village, “Gingerbread Lane,” made the Guinness Book of World Records last year with 157 gingerbread houses. This year, he’s back at the New York Hall of Science, with plans to break his record by expanding his gingerbread empire to 1,020 houses.
The holiday-themed village will close Jan. 11 when the sweet real estate will be given away.
