The city Health and Hospitals Corporation and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services held a free Medicare workshop at Bellevue Hospital as the deadline for open enrollment neared.
Representatives from both organizations talked about enrollment and how insurance plans have morphed since the implementation of the Affordable Care Act. The deadline for Medicare plan changes is Dec. 7.
