Manhattan —
Parents with young children often have a hard time finding appropriate Halloween-themed activities in Manhattan, especially amid the adult-driven spectacle of the annual Greenwich Village parade.
But little bumble bees, tigers and dinosaurs discovered a home for the day at the second annual Toddler Halloween Costume Parade at the Gertrude Ederle Recreation Center on the Upper West Side. About 50 tots between the ages of 1 and 5 celebrated Halloween with playtime, pumpkin-painting and a modest march of their own.
