A Polling Place for the Vulnerable

When New York City’s poll site 094 opens on Tuesday, only a few voters will likely show up.

But turnout isn’t a priority for the people who set up the booths there. It is making sure every New Yorker, even the most vulnerable, has the opportunity to cast a ballot on Election Day.

The poll site is in the state-run Manhattan Psychiatric Center.
