BROOKLYN —
Aoife Duna, 26, of Brooklyn is a senior manager of data analytics for StrongArm Tech, which makes wearable devices designed to improve workplace safety.
Duna has been working for the past six weeks from the Bushwick apartment she shares with two roommates. New rituals have added markers to her day: “Meals became so much more important, because it’s really the only way to entertain yourself. And if I’m in the middle of work, stepping away to go eat something is like a way of mentally switching.”
In this audio slideshow, she describes the routines of her daily life during the pandemic—including caring for her plants of many temperaments, exercising with Zoom classes and navigating online dating as an all-virtual experience.
