BROOKLYN —
A new mural on the corner of St. Nicholas Avenue and Troutman Street promotes a litter-free Bushwick.
The unveiling came at a Sept. 6 block party organized by the Clean Bushwick Initiative to encourage community support for environmental action.
“We try to keep the momentum going because we knew that at some point COVID would go away and the environmental crisis wouldn’t,” said Kristen Tadrous, the group’s assistant director.
