Tattoo parlors in Williamsburg have seen a surge in business since  reopening after the pandemic shutdown that extended into the summer.

Janine Llamzon,  who worked 14-hour shifts as director of nursing and systems operations in the emergency department at a Paterson, N.J., hospital, was Todd “Woodz” Woodward’s first client when his Magic Cobra Tattoo shop reopened.

She said getting her tattoo showing a masked nurse surrounded by a halo was “like four hours of therapy.”
