According to a recent report by rental assistance company Zumper, New York City is the most expensive place to live in the country.

For many college students attending schools here, there’s a way to avoid one of the biggest costs: housing. Many college students are opting to commute from their homes in the suburbs.

As Angela Palumbo reports, these trips can be long and expensive. But these students say they still are saving money.
