The Latina distance runners of Angel City Elite are on a mission.
They compete in marathons and aim to qualify for the Olympics. They are also dedicated to spreading the word about their experiences in a predominantly white sport.
The goals of the Los Angeles-based club include getting more BIPOC representation in running at all levels. And with big-time sponsorship, their message is getting delivered from a bigger platform.
