MANHATTAN —
Television and film writers are ready to return to work after a deal between the Writers Guild of America and the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers was reached. The deal—which came nearly five months since the strike began— includes an increase in pay and residuals, some guidelines on the use of artificial intelligence, and other details.
Now the attention shifts to the actor’s union known as SAG-AFTRA, who are hoping they can get off the picket lines.
