One of the most celebrated days in NYC, the 53rd annual race kicked off on the chilly morning of Nov. 3 and meandered its way from Staten Island to Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx and finally finishing in Central Park. With more than 56,000 runners joining from all over the world, it makes the 2024 NYC Marathon the most participated race since its inception in 1970.
